Furnace Rolls

FERROMAN is supplying furnace rolls ready for assembling into all known types of furnaces in the steel-, aluminium- and copper-industry:

• transport rolls in soaking zones of strip casting machines, hearth rolls for heavy plate mills, rolls for with brushes.
• deflector and support rolls in continious annealing- and continious galvanizing-lines for strip.
• special types: diabolo rolls static casted in walking beam furnaces for tubes and other long products.

The huge variety of heat resistant cast steel grades is today making it possible to use for most applications the energy saving un-cooled rolls with the center barrel made of a centricast tube. We do make calculations on the mechanical loads and help to find the optimum roll design already during the construction of the furnace, and also later for better performance or for changing the production programme during operation.

We make repair on furnace rolls, for example roller barrel tubes, repair welding, dynamic balancing, re-newing of coatings like HVOF.
